Preparing the pre-Olympic gymnastics team at the National Gym of Mikra
The National Gym of Mikra is the largest national sports centre in Northern Greece.
The sports centre of gymnastics and trampoline (“House of gymnastics”) in Thessaloniki, was the place where one year ago more than 200 club athletes, as well as the competition section of Olympic and pre-Olympic training, exercised daily.
During the pandemic and with the measures taken to avoid and limit the spread of the new coronavirus, after many difficulties, only the pre-Olympic team was allowed to use the facilities so that they could continue their normal program, while maintaining strict protection measures, and claim honours in the European and world championships of 2021.
